Shelley started working with make-up about 18 years ago. It all started with a class delivered by Lynda Latona, an amazing make-up artist who is so passionate about the industry and a leader in new and wonderful products.
Shelley joined Hairdressing to expand her skills in the industry, and working for Stelios Papas she acquired some fantastic basic skills. Shelley had great fun being involved in hair shows and photo shoots. That is when her passion was ignited for Editorial make-up having some of her work published in hair magazines.
She wanted more, so attending workshops in Sydney (the most recent was with Rae Morris) and exploring and pushing products to the limit is her way of staying current with the treads. Shelley always draws on her idiols Pat McGrath and Rae Morris for inspiration.
Over the years Shelley has worked with very talented Photographers and young Fashion Designers giving them all the freedom to build their portfolios. Another exciting part of her work is working on films, fashion runway shows and weddings, all requiring skills from basic make-up to special effects make-up.
